FAIR SEX

Male-female ratio is deteriorating day by day. In today's nuclear family scenerio it is immaterial whether the child is a son or a daughter. Basically this mantra is instrumental in the metros and in educated families where both the parents are working. Situation is different in the villages, underpriviledged, uneducated and poor families where they need hands to work and earn. Besides this certain other factors like inheritance of anscestoral propereties/estate etc. are very instrumental. Although there are number of Govt. regulations and laws to improve the male-female ration but still male child is preferred in the soceity.

23rd Sept. is being celebrated as Daughter's Day.

Whether this day may be helpful in improving the fair sex ratio?
